    ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD FILLED BRASS BLACK  MOURNING BRACELET Pat Dec. 16 1879
    Civil War era Victorian mourning bracelet with black oval in the center and
    possible gold-filled or brass end pieces..
    The bracelet has a hinged opening.
    A black enamel or type of paint once covered the bracelet completely, but
    now has
    some wear.  I imagine it can be touched up.
    Bracelet is marked "
    Pat Dec. 16 1879".
    A nice old piece!
