For your bidding consideration today, fresh from a local estate auction, we have an antique mourning hair bracelet. This bracelet has three sections of finely woven pieces of hair, braided to form the band. The hair is brown, set in gold plated or gold filled fittings that have not been tested. The center of the bracelet where the clasp is has a locket with glass  that has hair in the center. The locket measures 1 1/4” x 1”, the length of the bracelet from end to end is 8”. The glass on the locket looks like it would pop out easily should you want to change the contents. The piece is in good antique condition.
