is used for simultaneous sowing of five rows of small-seeded vegetable crops. The design of the seeder is modular, it is made of separate modules, if necessary, it can be easily disassembled. A single-row seeder for seeding small-seed crops SMK-1 (hereinafter referred to as a seeder) and its modifications is intended for ordinary sowing of small-seeded vegetable crops in greenhouses, hotbeds and in open ground.
Device.
The seeder consists of a sowing machine body on which a section of a seed drill with a restrictive brush and a shaft with a sowing bushing and drive wheels is fixed. To ensure the reliability of the seed drill and the precision of seeding, the seeder is equipped with a seed sinker. The seeding bushing of the seeder has grooves made with a certain pitch. The seed drill set includes one sowing bushing, fitted on the shaft. In addition, it is possible to purchase blanks for making bushings for different crops. The instructions for drilling bushings are given below.
Operating principle.
The principle of operation of the seed drill is based on the rotation of the bushing of the sowing apparatus, into the calibrated grooves of which the seeds of the sown crop enter. The brush limiter leaves only one seed in each groove of the sowing bush, which is discharged into the furrow by a sprinkler of the original design. The density of sowing depends on the depth of the grooves in the sowing bush.
Preparing the seeder for work.
Set the required seeding rate by setting the desired sowing sleeve on the shaft. Adjust the position of the brush restrictor to the desired number of seeds.
