For your bidding consideration today, fresh from a local estate auction, we have a fabulous antique Victorian mourning hair necklace! This piece is comprised of woven hair ‘balls’, in the center hangs an agate stone set in a 10K gold setting. It is not marked but has been tested. There was no mention about the clasp, so I can’t say that it is gold, probably gold filled or plated. It is in very nice condition, I do not see any flaws, it is a lovely piece! The necklace measures 22” from end to end. We have another from the same sale that has a cross pendant that we will be listing shortly!
